The Seoul Metropolitan Government announced on the 24th that following last year, it has once again been operating the Digital Learning Center, an education program to strengthen digital capabilities for all citizens, since April of this year. The Digital Learning Center is a government-planned project that enables everyone to enjoy a convenient digital life without being excluded from digital technology and services, with the city of Seoul operating 140 locations annually.

According to the Seoul Metropolitan Government, over the past two months, the Digital Learning Center, which has taken the lead in imparting essential knowledge and knowledge to live in the digital age to those in elementary school to those in their 70s or older, has prepared new education to overcome COVID-19.

In line with the period when vaccinations for those in their 50s and 60s are focused, ‘Digital Education to Support the Recovery of the Daily Life’ was prepared by linking vaccination and the Digital Learning Center package education.

Digital education to support daily recovery supports the entire process of COVID-19 vaccination, from vaccination reservations to certificate issuance and use, to follow-up health management, through digital devices.

The Seoul Metropolitan Government plans to provide hands-on training at senior welfare centers or senior centers registered as digital learning centers so that anyone in their 50s or 60s can easily prove their vaccination status and receive digital benefits.

ALUX Co., Ltd., which conducts digital competency-strengthening education in Seoul, has also prepared various linked education projects to restore daily life stagnated by COVID-19. In collaboration with traditional markets, vaccination certificates can be used within the market to receive discounts, while educating market visitors on how to use digital currencies such as Zero Pay.

In addition, Seoul City produces abbreviated teaching materials and distributes them to target institutions to improve educational effectiveness. We plan to provide various benefits linked to vaccination history certificates through digital services.
